Synopsis

In the gritty streets of 1991 Montreal, 11-year-old Delphis is struggling to survive amidst poverty and an unstable family life. One fateful night, he embarks on a journey to seize control of his destiny and adopts the persona of "L'Ouragan" (The Hurricane).

With a lightning bolt emblazoned on his headband and his middle finger held high, he defiantly escapes a world that seems determined to cast him aside. Through the film’s fearless portrayal of an underdog determined to defy societal indifference, L’Ouragan ignites a powerful and emotive exploration of self-identity, one’s sense of belonging, and the true meaning of family.
